Today, 1 in 5 people around the world experience hair loss. 60% of men will have to deal with hair loss by the age of 50, and, 50% of women in their lifetime. 

Can we do something about it? Sure, but first, let’s understand the problem:

WHY DO WE LOSE OUR HAIR? 

Different reasons are related to this very common issue. We can group these in 3 main causes: 

1. Androgenic alopecia: mainly caused by genetic factors
2. Anti-cancer treatments: mainly chemotherapy
3. External factors: such as temperature during seasonal changes, a diet too rich in protein (testosterone precursor that may convert into DHT) a diet poor in Vitamin B7, Vitamin D or essential amino acids (EAA).

WHAT TO DO TO KEEP OUR HAIR? 

There are 2 phases to work on: 

• Stimulation of hair growth, - 1st stage ANAGEN
• Reduction of hair loss - 3rd stage TELOGEN

HOW CAN WE KEEP OUR HAIR? 

Internally: 
Changing our diet will contribute to a stronger cellular matrix in our skin and/or its appendages (hair, nails). Foods rich with Vitamin B7 (biotin), Vitamin D3 and supplements with EAA will set up the necessary natural sources to promote hair production.

Externally:
The most common pharmacy product is Minoxidil 5%, which widens the blood vessels and increases blood flow to the hair bulb. However, numerous side effects such as irritation, eczema, allergic dermatitis, redness, worsening of hair loss, burning, and respiratory infections, do not encourage patients to use it for the long term.

3 months evaluation of 30 female and male participants aged between of 18 and 70 years old 
 

1. HAIR GROWTH STIMULATION

Reactivates and extends the hair growth phase. Boosts micro-circulation in the hair bulb. Fortifies and makes the hair fibre thicker for stronger hair with more vitality. Reactivates the hair regrowth mechanism following cancer treatments.
